Robots I have experience with

DIGIT V4

Digit V4 is a humanoid robot produced by Agility Robotics. The robot is designed to excel in spaces where people already work, Digit’s human-centric form factor means that manufacturing floors and warehouse spaces don’t have to be redesigned. It’s a solution that’s ready to help today.

Digit has a 35 pound carrying capacity, 4 hour battery life, and the capability to work continuous shifts. It’s designed to endure strenuous conditions on the most difficult assembly lines.

At Agility Robotics, I was working on Digit’s perception. More specifically, I was developing state estimation, localization and mapping algorithms to enable our fleet to accurately and robustly perceive the environment and also track objects of interest in its near vicinity to facilitate manipulation.

DIGIT V3

Digit V3 is a humanoid robot produced by Agility Robotics. The robot is designed to be versatile in order to perform multiple tasks, unlike other robots that are on purposely built to be efficient in a single, specific task. Digit V3 has a max speed of 1.5 m/s and can run for 3 hours doing light work. Doing heavy work, the robot has an autonomy up to 1.5 hours.

At Agility Robotics, I was working on Digit’s perception. More specifically, I was developing state estimation, localization and mapping algorithms to enable our fleet to accurately and robustly perceive the environment.

PERSEPHONE

Persephone is a mobile robot designed, developed and constructed at FORTH-ICS. I’ve developed algorithms that facilitate robust and safe autonomous navigation, including SLAM, global and local path planning.
Today, Persephone is deployed as the first robotic guide in a cave environment namely, the Alistratis cave located in Serres, Greece. The robot is able to communicate fluently in 33 languages.
